Greg is the Managing Partner & CEO of Deloitte Philippines/Navarro Amper & Co., and President of Deloitte Philippines Outreach, Inc. He is the President of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center Inc. (PDRCI), a member of the Board of Visitors of the Philippine Military Academy and a Fellow of both the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA), where he also serves as Trustee. He is a Trustee of the CIBI Foundation and former member of the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards Council and previously the President of The Carl Jung Circle Center Inc. and continues to serve as a Board Member. He was also the 2014 President of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) where he continues to serve as Governor in 2015. Greg is Vice-chairman of the Integrity Initiative, Inc. and also served in the 2014 Advisory Council of the Philippine Disaster Recovery Foundation, Inc. He was the 2010 President of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), 2011 Chairman of the FINEX Research & Development Foundation, former Treasurer of PDRCI, Past President of the Rotary Club of Makati Salcedo and the former Managing Partner & Chief Executive Officer of Punongbayan & Araullo. He earlier started his career at SGV & Co. He has some 40 years of experience in accounting, auditing, management consulting and corporate finance.
His expertise in public accounting is augmented by ten years as a senior executive at Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Company of Manila, Inc., where he handled engineering and estimating, business development, procurement and international marketing. Greg is a recipient of the Young PICPA Achiever Award from the Philippine Institute of CPAs (PICPA) and an outstanding alumnus award from the University of the East, as well as the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of CPAs in Public Practice (ACPAPP).
Greg has an accounting degree from the University of the East and obtained the second highest overall rating in the CPA licensure examinations of October 1976. In 1992, he participated in the Ernst & Young Partner Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in the United States. He also completed the Senior Executive Program of the Columbia Business School in New York in 2003.
Greg is a Founding Director of the Capital Markets Institute of the Philippines and A Life for Others Foundation. He is a current or a past member of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), Philippine Business for Social Progress(PBSP), Philippines-Korea Business Council, The Makati Business Club, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the Philippines-Canada Business Council, the Philippines-Japan Economic Cooperation Council and the Philippines-USA Business Council. He was previously a Director of the Alay Lakad Foundation, Chairman of the Rotary Club of Makati Salcedo Foundation and the P&A Foundation, and Chairman of the Action Team Foundation of Rotary International Districts 3810 and 3830. He was the Auditor of Rotary International District 3810, RY2010-11 and Chairman of its Finance Committee for RY 2011-12.
